Is Bush starting to confess his mistakes in his speeches?

History repeats itself in every nation and everywhere. No country is liberated with a peace treaty signature, this is considered as hypocrisy. But true liberation comes only by giving blood because what is taken by force is returned by force.

Today Bush is giving a speech to the air force officers in Colorado, saying that “this guerilla warfare in Iraq and Afghanistan has made the understanding of victory more complicated“. And he is quite right because the untied states army is not qualified to handle wars in cities or jungles. They are qualified to handle wars on their soil or in the desert. They have lost the war against Vietnam although they have occupied Vietnam but they withdrew after 13 years. Vietnam to the knowledge of the entire world was a bloody nightmare for the Americans, even General Myers confessed saying that every day he dreams of a nightmare seeing the letter “V” with drops of blood falling on him.

They are not qualified for guerilla warfare in cities for a number of reasons, An army in general is trained to maintain peace and defend the country against any attacks. Many of the united states army (mercenaries from Latina America, southeast Asia, Caucasian countries) have been given basic training so they can immediately join the Iraqi war. They have not attended military school, they are mercenaries given promises to be given the green card and the American nationality, and since they have not been trained very well and thrown immediately in an unfamiliar territory that their enemy knows well and perfection; they will obviously lose the battle, but what is making them resist somehow is the high equipment technology weapons they have.

They have lost in Vietnam because they were not familiar with guerilla warfare in jungles because they have not been exposed to training in the jungle, and the same thing has happened; they started recruiting mercenaries in the 70’s and throwing them into Vietnam after promises. The Americans were hunted in Vietnam because the Vietnamese knew their land more than any body else and knew how to make traps and hide. they used the policy of hit and run.

Guerilla warfare has been not only a nightmare but a phobia to the united states army. And only after a high number of causalities and financial losses we hear protests and critics from within the American administration and white house such as Scott Maclilan. Maclilan said that it is the biggest strategic mistake to have a war against Iraq and It was totally unnecessary. But if it were the other way around, no causalities, no financial losses, no military artillery losses, and more monetary benefits from the Iraqi wells, American oil companies are having high cash flow and profit; I would doubt if any one from the white house will criticize or protest against the war against Iraq.

One thing I am sure of, in my personal opinion; the Americans won’t last in Iraq for 8 years ahead. Plus Vietnam would be considered as a picnic. Because in Vietnam you had only locals attacking the united states army. But in Iraq you have many sects plus you have Arabs being smuggled only to attack the united states army in Iraq. Iraq has been a model of personal vendettas because any country or group that are not on good terms with the united states would go to Iraq to settle the accounts.

The withdrawal from Iraq is tied to a number of things in the gulf region such as Iran and the civil war in Iraq that is already knocking the doors but that would be written in an article next week.

I’m sure Bush wouldnt have even gone through the copy. An egghead that he is, he would have the least idea of the fact that he is confessing. He will remain the biggest blunder in the most powerful nation’s history.

Bush is not beginning to confess his mistakes but only make public what he realized while holding onto the US President’s post.

Collin Powell, the former secretary of state being a man from the forces understood what War is.

Realizing the follies that America had landed itself in trying to combat the war on terror, he quietly withdrew from the scene.

Bush being a Texan only had limited knowledge of world affairs, something which Cherie Blair in her autobiography recently revealed.

How a smart Briton like Tony Blair had to cope up with this is amply illustrated by Tony later being called Bush’s poodle.

What happens to the twin wars of Afghanistan and Iraq after Bush is gone is being debated in the run up to the elections slated for later in the year.

9/11, Afghan-Iraq Wars, Sub-prime crisis and the rising price of oil: complicated with George Bush as president has dented the position that USA commanded internationally.

It’s good to know that Bush will be booted out of office in the next few months. But, another Republican, as worse as him if not worser is senator John McCain who might just be the man who pulls it off at the hustings. This, simply because the squabbling Democrats are only strengthening McCain’s position.

I just hope you are proved wrong on that one Jay. McCain does not deserve to rule a nation as powerful as the United States. One of the two ’squabbling Democrats’ has to come to the rescue of this country that has suffered a plenty under the Bush Jr. Regime. The Manner in which the war on terror was handled should be a good enough example for people as a hint to what could happen if McCain gains power.

Even i don’t want McCain to come anywhere near the White House, but the squabbling democrats are just making more of their ilk want to sit on the fence than to go out and vote. This certainly will boost the fragile chances of John McCain. Once he is in, Bush will look like an angel;)

whether he accepts it or not but he is a failure being the president of USA. his era will be remembered as the most destructive one for USA and neither the world nor the US needs any proofs against or in favor of it. coz reality can never be denied and Bush can't even do that. however, before leaving the white house maybe he want to apologize the nation for all the wrongs and damage that his so called war on terror has done to the US people or is it an election stunt????

I really hope Obama wins the battle. Although I do not know how power will manipulate him but still I have high hopes from him. And people who have seen Scary movie, you might find an exact replica of Bush in that movie. If anyone hasn’t, please do so. Especially the fourth part. Good to see that the makers know that the President is an egghead!
